God's power is found and expressed in the words of the Bible.  «For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires.» (Hebrews‬ ‭4:12‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

The Bible is the answer key to life's questions, not your own emotions, not science, not your own logic, not the society and not your family and friends. If you are born again, God's will and power will gradually reveal itself in your life and in the way you think.

«Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.» (Romans‬ ‭12:2‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

Will you tell your family or friends if their lifestyle is harmful to them? If you love them you will warn them. «“Do not nurse hatred in your heart for any of your relatives. Confront people directly so you will not be held guilty for their sin.» (‭‭Leviticus‬ ‭19:17‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

It will have consequences for you. "There is a devil going around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Pet. 5:8). If you never bump into him in this life, it might be because you’re going in the same direction. But when you turn around and begin swimming upstream, following God’s plan for your life, you’re going to get some resistance, and you will need to know how to keep your heart from being troubled."
