Eternal life in hell ?

If there is an eternal hell, it would be best for every lost human to never have been born. Wouldn't it? But that is not the message in the Bible.  «For the Son of Man must die, as the Scriptures declared long ago. But how terrible it will be for the one who betrays him. It would be far better for that man if he had never been born!”» Matthew‬ ‭26:24‬ ‭NLT‬‬. For that particular man. Not for every man.

What is justice in God's eyes? «[It is a fair decision] since it is a righteous thing with God to repay with distress and affliction those who distress and afflict you,  ....... Such people will pay the penalty and suffer the punishment of everlasting ruin (destruction and perdition) and eternal exclusion and banishment from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power,» (2 Thessalonians‬ ‭1:6, 9‬ ‭AMP‬‬) In my Norwegian translation verse 6 sounds like this: "For this is just in God's eyes: When someone afflicts you, He will repay with afflictions."  To me these verses declare that God's punishment is measured up in accordance with the sin that is comitted.

Besides. The only way to eternal life is through Jesus.

For those who believe in never ending hell: Who is in charge there?

Often illustrated is the devil and his demon as they are torturing us humans. If so, hell must be a terrific place for the devil. What a reward! He can live out his demonic tendencies indefinetely for billions upon billions of years on humans who had a earthly lifespan of anything from a few days to 70 years or so. And some of these humans have suffered from pain, loss, and despair their entire earthly life.

Or is God in charge in a never ending hell? Imagine your own child. He never asked to be born. He just was born. And this child grew up to be a crimanal, bothering everybody and killing somebody. If you were in charge, would you for example sentence him to 1000 years in tortur for every day he lived on this earth? Would that be enough? But eventually even you would think he had suffered enough. And you think God is such that he would let him suffer indefinetely?

Either instance has its origin in the demonic mind of the devil. In the first, he has a ball. In the second he has given God a character that plans hell to be a part of His pure and eternal universe.

No. «He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever.”» (Revelation‬ ‭21:4‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

If you are touched by these words, share your experience with someone. The body of Christ was broken on the cross for our sins, and his blood was poured out so that we can experience his revitalizing power. Praise him! He is alive and he wants to spend eternity with you.
